How It Works
Create a paste, share a link, add optional protection, and export to PDF or Word in a few simple steps.
-
1. Create your paste
Go to the home page, choose a format (Markdown, Source Code, or Plain Text), and paste or type your content. Markdown supports live preview; you can drag and drop a
.mdfile when Markdown is selected. -
2. Set options (optional)
Add a title, password, expiry time, burn-after-reading, or open discussion before you publish. Defaults are sensible — you can share immediately without changing anything.
-
3. Share the link
After creating a paste you get a short URL. Share it directly, show a QR code, email the link, or use the body-only view (
/slug/main) when you want content without site navigation. -
4. View and collaborate
Recipients open the link in their browser. Password-protected pastes ask for a password once per session. If discussion is enabled, visitors can leave comments. Owners can edit pastes from My Pastes or after signing in with Google.
-
5. Export or reuse
Download plain text, PDF, or Word (.docx) from the paste page. Clone a paste to fork it into the editor, or use the raw view for plain source text.
